BOOMj.com, Inc. is a niche portal and social network, integrated with e-commerce targeting Baby Boomers and Generation Jonesers. The business is designed to be deployed on multimedia platforms and the website integrates rich media advertising and video.  The business strategies exemplify web 3.0 = Community, Commerce, Content and Context.

BOOMj.com is America's niche portal and social network for adults over the age of 35.  The Company's target demographic is the 78 million Baby Boomers and Generation Jonesers that spent $2.3 trillion last year, have $1 trillion of disposable income and have an estimated $45 trillion in potential retirement funds. The BOOMj demographic is the most rapidly growing group on the Internet, according to surveys conducted by the Pew Internet & American Life Project.

Business Model

Our business model fully leverages and exploits the synergy between our two revenue streams – advertising and e-commerce. Quite simply we maximize cross-selling opportunities within vertical pages on our social network and e-commerce sites.
We’ve developed superior economics by driving traffic to the website through an aggressive e-commerce model, offering everyday low prices that generate interest, page views, membership and thereby advertising revenue. Currently, no other competing
website is using e-commerce as a catalyst to enhance traffic to their website. Membership with BOOMj is free and we deliver unique and engaging content to spur interest and draw the attention of our members. Currently the BOOMj store offers
approximately one and a half million brand name products at highly competitive prices.  We’ve also developed a Loyalty Program that allows members to earn rewards points through online social activities and shopping on the site. Rewards points are redeemable in the BOOMj Store.

We have also developed strategic partnerships with high traffic websites and social networks, creating co-branded stores, thereby gaining revenue and members at a very low cost of acquisition. The cost to implement such partnerships is relatively minimal and
we gain new member bases to direct advertising and e-commerce sales. We also seek out strategic advertiser partnerships to offer brand sponsorship opportunities that are integrated and unique.

To meet the business' goals BOOMj has assembled an experienced management team with more than 105 years of market expertise and a track record for successful implementation of Internet strategies, e-commerce, media sales, marketing campaigns, and finance.
