BOOMj Inc. Announces Launch of ''Great Picture!'' Facebook Application

LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BOOMj Inc. (OTCBB: BOMJ, (www.BOOMj.com)), a leading Web-based niche social network and e-commerce site serving more than 78 million Baby Boomers and adults over the age of 35, has announced the launch of its first social networking application on the Facebook platform. Boomj Inc. partnered with Los Angeles-based Branded Research LLC, (www.brandedresearch.com) for the development and management of the Great Picture! campaign.

The importance of branding and differentiating BOOMj as a social network for Baby Boomers and adults over the age of 35 is key as we expand the opportunities for social and professional networking both with more targeted content and e-commerce, stated Wendy Borow-Johnson President of BOOMj Inc.

BOOMj has always recognized the importance of establishing a presence on Facebook, as this opportunity allows them to reach both the older demographic and the 18-25 year olds who in turn introduce BOOMj to their parents, stated Mike McKay, co-founder and Vice President of Marketing at Branded Research.

Beginning today, the Great Picture! application can be found on Facebooks application directory. The Great Picture! application is a photo contest where users can upload their favorite vacation pictures, comment and vote on which ones they like best. The application is tied closely with BOOMj Travel, and prizes will be awarded to the top five finalists, with the grand prize being a weekend getaway to Napa Valley, CA. Users of the application will be encouraged to access BOOMj Travel and the BOOMj store.

Todays companies need to have an elastic marketing program that can spread across all platforms.
